"Ayataka" is an authentic, premium tea that delivers a cloudy hue and a well-rounded flavor that lingers on the tongue, just as green tea brewed in a pot should. The name is derived from the name of a high-quality green tea first sold in the Meiji Era by "Kanbayashi Shunsho Honten", a long-standing tea shop based in Uji, Kyoto with a history of over 450 years, that supplied tea leaves to the shogun's household.

Digestion-resistant dextrin (dietary fiber) in this product works to suppress the absorption of fat from food and moderate neutral fat level spikes in the blood after eating. It also reduces the absorption of sugar ingested during meals and mitigates increases in blood sugar after eating. This beverage is well-suited for those who have elevated neutral fat levels in their blood, often ingest fatty foods, or are worried about post-meal blood sugar levels.
