America's oldest carbonated beverage, "Dr Pepper" was created in 1885 by Wade Morrison together with Charles Alderton, who was working in Morrison's drugstore in Waco Texas. It is said that the product was named after Dr. Charles Pepper, who was Morrison's father-in-law.
